Agreement
These terms govern the use of this website and all design, development, mentorship and consulting services provided by AKANDEFT – The Coding Monster. Engaging our services confirms your acceptance of these terms.
Quotations and scope
Every quotation is based on a written scope agreed before work begins. Quotations remain valid for 30 days. Work requested outside the agreed scope is quoted separately and does not automatically extend the original delivery date.
Payments
Projects begin only after the agreed deposit is received.
- Standard structure: 50% deposit, 25% at midpoint milestone, 25% on handover
- Payments are processed securely through Flutterwave
- Deposits are non-refundable once design or development work has commenced
- Projects above $3,000 may be split into monthly milestone payments
- Prices are quoted exclusive of any local taxes that may apply to you
Delivery timelines
Estimated delivery times are provided in good faith and assume timely feedback and content from you. Delays in supplying content, approvals or payments will extend the delivery schedule accordingly.
Client responsibilities
To deliver on time we need your cooperation.
- Provide content, images and brand assets promptly
- Respond to review requests within five working days
- Ensure you hold the rights to any material you supply
- Nominate a single decision-maker for approvals
Revisions
Each project includes two rounds of revisions per milestone. Further revisions, or changes that alter agreed scope, are billed at the applicable hourly or project rate agreed in advance.
Intellectual property
On receipt of final payment, full ownership of the delivered code, designs and assets transfers to you. We retain the right to display the completed work in our portfolio and marketing unless you request otherwise in writing. Third-party licences, fonts and APIs remain subject to their own terms.
Support and maintenance
Every project includes 30 days of post-launch support covering defects in delivered work. This does not include new features, content changes or third-party service failures. Ongoing maintenance plans are available from $150 per month.
Mentorship terms
Mentorship fees are payable before the programme begins. Sessions may be rescheduled with at least 24 hours notice. Missed sessions without notice are treated as delivered. Mentorship materials are for your personal use and may not be resold or redistributed.
Portfolio and demonstration projects
Projects presented in the portfolio section of this website are showcase demonstrations created to illustrate build quality and capability across industries. Company names used within them are illustrative.
Limitation of liability
Our total liability for any claim arising from a project is limited to the total fees paid for that project. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits, arising from the use of delivered work or third-party services.
Cancellation
Either party may cancel a project in writing. You remain liable for all work completed up to the cancellation date. Deposits covering commenced work are non-refundable.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Questions about these terms should be sent to codingmonster.support@gmail.com.
